Clean air is essential for our health and longevity. Air pollution is one of the greatest environmental issues of the world which threat health of live creatures. The aim of the present study is to assess the knowledge regarding air pollution among higher secondary school students. A simple descriptive design was used which is one of non experimental design. The data was collected by using cross sectional survey approach. The study was conducted in selected school Chaubeypur. Samples were selected using convenient sampling technique. The over all knowledge score was 9.28, mean 46% with SD 2.11 which shows that over all knowledge level was inadequate. There is no association found between knowledge level with their selected demographic variable.

A quantitative pre experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge regarding management of hypertension. Objectives of the study were to assess the pre test knowledge regarding management of hypertension, to assess the effectiveness of planned teaching programme regarding management of hypertension and to find out the association between knowledge scores with selected demographical variables. The study conducted with pre experimental one group pre test and post test design, with non probability convenient sampling technique. There were significant increase in the mean post test knowledge scores of the care takers of hypertensive patients regarding management of hypertension after implementation of PTP in comparison with the mean pre test knowledge scores and there was a no significant association between pre test knowledge score with selected demographic variables.

Worm infestation is the leading cause of anemia and under nutrition.; children with these infections suffer from developmental disturbances and other serious illness. This study was conducted to assess the knowledge regarding worm infestation among mothers of pre-school children. There is high prevalence of worm infestation in children. So there is an urgent need to educate the mothers regarding worm infestation. The main purpose of the study is to assess the knowledge regarding worm infestation among mothers of preschool children. A quantitative research approach was used to evaluate the knowledge regarding worm infestation among mothers of pre-school children the research design adopted for the present study was simple Descriptive. Samples were mothers of pre-school children in selected areas of Moradabad, sample size was 100 and sampling technique was purposive sampling. The association between demographic variables and knowledge level was determined by chi square test. The result shows that, 48 (48%) mothers of pre-school children had moderately adequate knowledge, 42 (42%) had inadequate knowledge and 10 (10%) had adequate knowledge regarding worm infestation. The maximum mean knowledge score obtained by the subject was 14.50, and the Standard Deviation was 2.5269.The maximum level of knowledge was found moderately adequate. It was found in our study that there was no significant association between knowledge level and demographic variables.

Disease is the major aspect to make an individual unhealthy. Most of the communicable diseases are infectious hence they can be called as infectious disease. The objectives of the study are to assess the pre-test and post-test knowledge of higher secondary school students regarding swine flu. to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding swine flu and its prevention among higher secondary school students and finally to find association between pre-test knowledge regarding swine flu with selected socio demographic variable. Hypotheses are there will be a significant difference between pre-test and post-test level of knowledge regarding swine flu among higher secondary school students. There is no significant association between post-test levels of knowledge with selected socio demographic variables. Research approach is Quantitative approach, the research design of the study was one group pre-test post-test research design, Sample and sample size is 60 students of Higher Secondary school students. Simple convenient sampling technique was used to collect data. The overall major finding of the study reveal that the pre-test knowledge level of students are 38.3 % have poor knowledge, 70% have average knowledge and 6.7%have good knowledge regarding swine flu and its preventions and in post-test the level of knowledge is increased. The Chi-square value and table value of students reveals that there is a significant (p=<0.05) association of knowledge score with selected demographic variables.

The Nanotechnology is being used in developing countries to help and treat disease conditions and prevent health care issues. The common term of nanotechnology is Nan medicine. The Nanomedicine is a branch of medicine which applies the knowledge and tools of nanotechnology to the prevention and treatment of disease conditions. The Nanomedicine involves the use of nanoscale materials, such as biocompatible nanoparticles and nanorobots, for the diagnosis of the disease, delivery of the drug, for sensing or actuation purposes in a living organisms. The Nanomedicine is the application of nanotechnology, which often described as technologies under 1000 nm, in the health care sciences. Well the researchers have been using nanomedicine to the target microbes, with an appropriate result in vitro and as a potential innovation to the field of antimicrobials. In this studies followed, as clinical trials started to appear, and a movement of clinical translation is initiating in the field of antimicrobial nanomedicine. An important achievement for this field, is stimulating further clinical research and basic sciences, and generating research questions and scientific enquiries. The Trials addressing nanoparticles on catheters, hand gels, therapeutic vaccines, safety, and other issues have been conducted. As per their financial and bureaucratic restrictions, the presence of clinical trials is a great indicator of the potential in the field and is a necessary step to fight against microbes by nanomedicine.
